The worse thing is to feel helpless. I don't even know where the money I gave to the redcross (I wondered the same thing when I gave for Haiti and Sumatra) will go.. I just hope it will be a little useful.
I'm better to express my feelings with a drawing than with words.
edit : oh btw for foreign people who wants to donate to the american redcross but no american credit card, they have an amazon payement method. (you need of course to have an amazon account). <3
---------------- + A compilation of news regarding the earthquake : [link] + Search for loved ones : [link] + CNN lists ways you can help give aid : [link] + Japanese redcross via google you can directly donate to the JP redcross here : [link] . I just tested and it works fine and it's quick, you need a card and a google account that's all. also no need to worry about the change usd/yen, you pay directly in yen.
This piece is beautiful! And I was just wondering how you got the background of this picture to blend in with the deviantArt background color? I've been trying to figure out how - I figured I'd just paint my whole picture the deviantArt background color and do some erasing, but when I upload it onto here, there's this dreaded dark green border around my picture... -________- Could you help me out? :/ Btw, I'm using SAI
oh actually make your drawing normally on a layer that is NOT the "background" (but shouldn't be a problem since you're using Sai). when you're done, save it on ".png" format and be sure to check the 32bpp ARGB(the second choice) and tada!
png allow transparency, but on Sai you must chose "32bpp ARGB" instead of "24bpp RGB" otherwise it will not make the background transparent. hope it helps :3
